Two bit terror?
not sure what you mean by that, but you are way older than I, so is natural for moi to call ya old man...

SAo the old hag already opened the threa, huh?
oh well, better start my next war then :nya:

About your thread 'Separation of Church and State', I'm happy to read the discussion was healthy. I like the theme very much, but I think twice when entering in a thread about religion and things related when I find fanatic people discussing. You know, things become sick really fast. It wasn't the case. Congratulations, Mnemeth. Wish to be in more your threads.

I see that you also understand that historically when religion has become involved in politics that things go downhill very quickly.

sure no problem, and thanks for agreeing with me too...apparently, from that thread alone, not everyone agrees....tis sad guess some haven't made it to history class yet ^_^

whoah! u're an engineer... nice to meet u, n nice that my input was not a negative point, becuz i'm not a religious person, but the reality of that thing is so touchable as the air u need for breathing.

I'm finishing my studies in Industrial Engineer. i hope to graduate in october.

what's the area u're working?

please to meet u, once again :)

have a great day.

Its always good to get different views on these types of issues

Try researching the Philippine history if you want to know anything more about the topic(You'll know how the country is run if the two are combined)

Dear Mnmeth,

I might have ignored the topic and focused on:

...As for me, my response will always be, WHAT! ARE YOU NUTS? Politics should have nothing to do with religion other than to maintain the separation between the church and state.

So that's actually the reason why I took on the empirical aspect of religion and politics existing within the same sphere of influence in the world and the possible collision between the two with regards to worldly affairs.

As for imperialistic religions? Well, imperial powers will eventually want to destroy the other, so when the next crusades break out, you can be sure foreign policy will have hell to pay when it comes to negotiations after that.

Wistfully,
Sulibres

Hola Mnemeth-san! Hope everything's fine over there :)!

Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year to you and your family. And try not to burn too many humans to a crisp, it's Christmas after all XD...maybe you could just, ummm...send them away or something, when they trespass your territory, who knows, maybe you might get a gift or two for that lol :D...

Take care, fly safely and keep the fires cool. Happy holidays.

Quote by Mortiferatrinidad156Sushi would be at the top of my list, and Pizza, I guess. For deserts, Kydonia sto Fourno( Greek ) or Scandinavian rice puddings ( mouth waters...).

Thanks for contributin to my thread. What is this Kydonia sto Fourno? Don't think I have heard of it.

Hello there, sorry for the very late reply, been away from MT, schoolwork and stuff. :)

Kydonia sto fourno is a dessert with quince as a main ingredient, it's either baked( in this case ), preserved with spices or sweetened. It's not very popular here in Spain but readily available in restaurants catering to tourists or culinary journeymen like my family ( except my brother, who had a rough first meeting with wasabe and now is traumatized by the idea of trying out foreign cuisine :D). It's become one of my favourite desserts lately. As of now, I'm starting to get addicted to Thai food, much to my ma's horror, lol! X-P

Oh, and can I add you to my friendlist? Thanks and I'll keep in touch. :)

hiiiiiiii Mnemeth-san ^^
